Ziel der beiden ist es, durch massive Kostensenkungen im Vergleich zu existierenden Formel-Nachwuchs-Rennserien mehr Talenten den Einstieg in den professionalen Motorsport zu erm\u00f6glichen. Auch Chancengleichheit und Inklusion spielen dabei wichtige Rollen. Die erste Saison der FG Series soll im November 2025 im Rahmen der Formel E in Doha beginnen. Mit ihrem ganzheitlichen Ansatz positioniert sich die Serie als Schnittstelle zwischen Amateursport und professionellen Rennserien.<\/p>\n\n<h6>One Car, Two Championships<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eine Besonderheit der FG Series ist das \u201eOne Car, Two Championships\u201c-Konzept. Den Rennwagen gibt es in einer heckangetriebenen Einstiegsversion (FG2) und in einer allradangetriebenen Top-Version (FG1). Dabei handelt es sich um ein und dasselbe Fahrzeug, das durch verschiedene Leistungsstufen angepasst wird. Im FG1-Trimm werden 469 PS freigesetzt, in der Einstiegsklasse FG2 sind es 362 PS. Dabei werden Rennen beider Klassen an einem Rennwochenende mit denselben Fahrzeugen durchgef\u00fchrt, dadurch werden die Kosten f\u00fcr die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer der beiden Klassen praktisch halbiert, da sie sich je ein Auto teilen. Wartung und Einsatz der Fahrzeuge erfolgt zentral durch die FG Series. Die Rennen sollen im Rahmen etablierter Rennserien stattfinden, um bestehende Infrastrukturen nutzen zu k\u00f6nnen und auch die logistischen Kosten zu senken,<\/p>\n\n<h6>FG-Twin\u00a0<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das eigens entwickelte FG-Twin-Fahrzeug bildet das Herzst\u00fcck der FG Series. Es kombiniert modular angelegte E-Antriebstechnologie mit adaptiver Aerodynamik. Die Leistung wird f\u00fcr die beiden Kategorien FG1 und FG2 per Software begrenzt. W\u00e4hrend FG2 auf feste Einstellungen setzt, erlaubt FG1 individuelle Anpassungen von Federraten bis zu Rekuperationsstufen. Ein hydraulisches Fahrwerkssystem passt die Bodenfreiheit automatisch an Streckenprofile an. Eine 800-Volt-Batteriearchitektur erlaubt Schnellladungen in 15 Minuten, unterst\u00fctzt durch bidirektionales Laden zur Stromr\u00fcckspeisung ins Netz.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h6>Infrastruktur<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zwei High-Tech-Komplexe, die sogenannten \u201eFG Powerparks\u201c, : Innovationszentren\u00a0bilden das operative R\u00fcckgrat der FG Series. Der Hauptsitz in Katar vereint Werkst\u00e4tten, VR-Trainingssimulatoren und eine Showroom-Arena. Ein Stelliten-Campus in Nordamerika hat den Schwerpunkt auf Batterie-Recycling und Kreislaufwirtschaft, mit Partnerschaften zu Universit\u00e4ten wie MIT und Stanford. Beide Standorte nutzen Extended Reality (XR), um virtuelle Strecken f\u00fcr Trainingszwecke zu generieren, und dienen als Testfeld f\u00fcr Ladetechnologien des Partners ABB.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h6>Nachhaltigkeitsagenda<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die FG Series bietet mehr als nur CO\u2082-Neutralit\u00e4t. Ausgemusterte Rennbatterien werden zu station\u00e4ren Speichern f\u00fcr die Powerparks umfunktioniert. Begleitfahrzeuge und Generatoren nutzen hydriertes Pflanzen\u00f6l (HVO100), das Emissionen um 90 % senkt. 50 % der Testkilometer werden in Simulationsumgebungen absolviert, um Ressourcen zu sparen.
