Elbflorace der TU Dresden optimieren ihre Fahrzeuge unter strengen Vorgaben hinsichtlich Energieeffizienz und Leichtbau. Im Wettbewerb werden beispielsweise die \u00d6kobilanzen einzelner Bauteile berechnet, um den CO\u2082-Fu\u00dfabdruck zu minimieren. So lernen die Studierenden, nachhaltige Konstruktionsprinzipien direkt in die Praxis umzusetzen. Die Formula Student dient als Innovationsplattform f\u00fcr die Automobilindustrie und f\u00f6rdert den Wandel hin zu nachhaltigen Technologien.<\/p>\n<h6>Elektrifizierung im Fokus<\/h6>\n<p>Die Formula Student Germany hat sich in den letzten Jahren konsequent auf nachhaltige Mobilit\u00e4t ausgerichtet. Der Fokus liegt auf elektrisch angetriebenen Rennwagen und der Integration autonomer Fahrfunktionen. Die meisten Teams starten inzwischen in der Elektro-Klasse, was den Trend zur Elektrifizierung in der Automobilbranche widerspiegelt. Die volle Punktzahl im Wettbewerb ist nur noch mit einem Fahrzeug m\u00f6glich, das auch autonom fahren kann \u2013 ein klares Signal f\u00fcr die Zukunftsf\u00e4higkeit des Wettbewerbs.<\/p>\n<h6>Wasserstoff als Innovationstreiber<\/h6>\n<p>Neben batterieelektrischen Fahrzeugen werden auch Wasserstoffantriebe erprobt. Ein Beispiel ist das Green Team Twente, das 2024 den ersten vollst\u00e4ndig von Studierenden gebauten Wasserstoff-Rennwagen vorgestellt hat. Ziel ist es, langfristig eine eigene Wasserstoff-Kategorie zu etablieren und andere Teams f\u00fcr diese umweltfreundliche Technologie zu begeistern. Die Abgase bestehen dabei fast ausschlie\u00dflich aus Wasser, was den \u00f6kologischen Fu\u00dfabdruck weiter reduziert.<\/p>\n<h6>Technologietransfer<\/h6>\n<p>Viele deutsche Hochschulen, wie die Hochschule Karlsruhe oder die Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, haben Nachhaltigkeit als zentrales Motiv in Ausbildung und Forschung etabliert. Die Arbeit an den Formula-Student-Projekten f\u00f6rdert das Bewusstsein f\u00fcr nachhaltige Mobilit\u00e4t und vermittelt praxisnahe Kompetenzen im Umgang mit ressourcenschonenden Technologien. Die meisten Teams werden von zahlreichen renommierten Unternehmen unterst\u00fctzt.
