Ziel der Serie ist es, autonome Systeme unter maximalem Stress zu erproben, damit sie sp\u00e4ter im Stra\u00dfenverkehr sicherer, effizienter und ressourcenschonender eingesetzt werden k\u00f6nnen. Die Events finden aktuell nicht durchgehend als klassische Rennserie statt, sondern eher in Form von Einzelveranstaltungen, Challenges und Demonstrationsrennen.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h6>Learnings f\u00fcr die Steuerung des Verkehrsflusses<\/h6>\n<p>Durch den Einsatz von KI wird nicht nur das einzelne Fahrzeug optimiert, sondern perspektivisch auch der gesamte Verkehrsfluss intelligenter gesteuert: Algorithmen k\u00f6nnen Fahrentscheidungen vorausschauend treffen, Geschwindigkeiten harmonisieren und \u00dcberhol- sowie Bremsman\u00f6ver effizient koordinieren, wodurch unn\u00f6tige Beschleunigungszyklen reduziert und Energie insgesamt deutlich effizienter genutzt werden kann.<br \/>Im Zentrum steht weniger das Fahrzeug selbst als vielmehr die Leistungsf\u00e4higkeit der entwickelten Software \u2013 die Teams treten im Kern mit ihren KI-Stacks gegeneinander an.<\/p>\n\n<h6>Autonomes Fahren reduziert den Energieverbrauch<\/h6>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr den Racing For The Climate e.V. ist besonders spannend, dass die A2RL technologische Entwicklung und Nachhaltigkeitsgedanken miteinander verbindet. Die Liga versteht sich als Treiber f\u00fcr sicherere und intelligentere Verkehrssysteme, die langfristig dazu beitragen sollen, Unf\u00e4lle zu reduzieren, Verkehrsfl\u00fcsse zu optimieren und damit auch Staus, Leerlaufzeiten und unn\u00f6tigen Energieverbrauch zu verringern. In den Statements der Organisatoren wird ausdr\u00fccklich betont, dass effizientere autonome Mobilit\u00e4t im Stra\u00dfenverkehr ein Hebel f\u00fcr weniger Kraftstoffverbrauch und geringere CO<sub>2<\/sub>-Emissionen ist. Dar\u00fcber hinaus tr\u00e4gt die Verbesserung der Fahrzeugsicherheit durch autonome Systeme dazu bei, Unf\u00e4lle zu vermeiden und damit indirekt auch Ressourcenverbrauch und Verkehrsbelastung zu reduzieren.<\/p>\n\n<h6>Basisfahrzeug aus der Super Formula<\/h6>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die eingesetzten Fahrzeuge basieren auf dem Dallara SF23 aus der japanischen Super Formula.\u00a0Die Fahrzeuge werden f\u00fcr die A2RL stark modifiziert (Sensorik, Compute Units, Drive-by-Wire-Systeme), so dass sie technologisch deutlich \u00fcber dem Serien-SF23 liegen.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Bei den Tests und Rennen entstehen riesige Datenmengen, aus denen Ingenieurinnen und Ingenieure lernen, wie sich autonome Systeme bei wechselnden Temperaturen, unterschiedlicher Haftung oder komplexen \u00dcberholman\u00f6vern verhalten \u2013 Erkenntnisse, die sp\u00e4ter helfen k\u00f6nnen, reale Fahrzeuge energieeffizienter zu steuern, vorausschauender zu bremsen und Beschleunigungsspitzen zu vermeiden. Gleichzeitig erm\u00f6glichen die im Rennbetrieb gewonnenen Daten umfangreiche Simulationen, die reale Testfahrten teilweise ersetzen und so Entwicklungsprozesse Ressourcen-schonender gestalten k\u00f6nnen.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Smarte, vernetzte und autonome Fahrzeuge k\u00f6nnen so k\u00fcnftig dazu beitragen, dass ganze Verkehrssysteme mit weniger Energie dieselbe oder sogar eine bessere Mobilit\u00e4tsleistung erbringen \u2013 ein zentraler Baustein f\u00fcr klimafreundliche St\u00e4dte und Regionen.<\/p>\n\n<h6>TU M\u00fcnchen zweimal in Folge Meister<\/h6>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deutschland ist bei dieser Zukunftstechnologie gut vertreten: Die Technische Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnchen (TUM) geh\u00f6rt zu den erfolgreichsten Teams der Serie. Das TUM-Team hat 2024 das Premierenrennen der A2RL gewonnen und seinen Titel 2025 erfolgreich verteidigt \u2013 und das gegen starke Konkurrenz aus Italien, den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten und anderen L\u00e4ndern.\u00a0Hinter diesen Erfolgen stehen Forschende und Studierende aus verschiedenen Lehrst\u00fchlen, die KI-basierte Fahrstrategien, Regelungstechnik und autonome Fahrzeugsysteme zusammenbringen und damit zeigen, welches Innovationspotenzial aus Deutschland in diese globale Plattform
