Mit dem Umstieg auf synthetische Kraftstoffe ab 2025, dem Einsatz nachhaltiger Reifen von Pirelli und innovativen Konzepten wie dem \u201eBottle Free Paddock\u201c setzt die traditionsreiche Rennserie unter ADAC-F\u00fchrung neue Ma\u00dfst\u00e4be f\u00fcr umweltbewussteren Rennsport. Diese Initiativen sind Teil einer umfassenden Strategie, den \u00f6kologischen Fu\u00dfabdruck des Motorsports deutlich zu reduzieren, ohne dabei Spannung und Attraktivit\u00e4t einzub\u00fc\u00dfen.<\/p>\n\n<h6>Synthetischer Kraftstoff<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit einem bedeutenden Schritt in Richtung Klimaschutz wird die DTM ab der Saison 2025 vollst\u00e4ndig auf synthetischen, fossilfreien Kraftstoff umsteigen, der den CO<sub>2<\/sub>-Aussto\u00df gegen\u00fcber herk\u00f6mmlichen Tankstellenkraftstoffen um rund 75 Prozent reduziert. Der innovative Treibstoff wird vom britischen\u00a0<a>Hersteller Coryton\u00a0<\/a>geliefert. Ein Gro\u00dfteil der verwendeten Rohstoffe besteht aus landwirtschaftlichen Abf\u00e4llen wie Stroh und anderen Nebenprodukten aus der Agrarwirtschaft. Die Besonderheit liegt darin, dass diese Biomasse nicht f\u00fcr den menschlichen Konsum bestimmt ist und somit keine Konkurrenz zur Nahrungsmittelproduktion darstellt. Es handelt sich um einen \u201eDrop-in\u201c-Kraftstoff. Das hei\u00dft, dass keinerlei Ver\u00e4nderungen an den Motoren vorgenommen werden m\u00fcssen. Bereits in der Saison 2023 hat die DTM erste Erfahrungen mit nachhaltigeren Kraftstoffen gesammelt. In Zusammenarbeit mit Shell wurde ein innovativer Kraftstoff eingef\u00fchrt, der zu etwa 50 Prozent aus regenerativen Komponenten bestand und somit bereits einen erheblichen Beitrag zur Reduzierung der CO<sub>2<\/sub>-Emissionen leistete. Diese schrittweise Herangehensweise erm\u00f6glichte es den Teams und Herstellern, sich an die neuen Treibstoffe anzupassen, bevor 2025 der vollst\u00e4ndige Umstieg auf synthetische Kraftstoffe erfolgt. Die gesammelten Erfahrungen flie\u00dfen in die Entwicklung und Optimierung der zuk\u00fcnftigen Kraftstoffl\u00f6sungen ein.<\/p>\n\n<h6>Reifen<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ein weiterer wichtiger Aspekt der Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie der DTM ist die Zusammenarbeit mit Reifenhersteller Pirelli, der seit der Saison 2023 exklusiver Reifenpartner der Rennserie ist. Pirelli treibt die Entwicklung nachhaltiger Reifen konsequent voran. 2025 kommen erstmals Reifen zum Einsatz, die zu mindestens 50 Prozent aus bio-basierten und recycelten Materialien bestehen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h6>Bottle Free Paddock<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nachhaltigkeit wird in der DTM nicht nur auf der Rennstrecke, sondern auch im Fahrerlager gelebt. Seit der Saison 2023 setzt die Rennserie in Zusammenarbeit mit dem weltweit renommierten Wasseraufbereitungsunternehmen BWT auf das innovative Konzept der \u201eBottle Free Zone\u201c. Dank dieser Partnerschaft wird die gesamte DTM mit Wasserspendern ausgestattet, die nicht nur den Teams zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen. Auch die Fans haben im Fahrerlager freien Zugang zu Trinkwasser. Die \u201eBottle Free Zone\u201c ist ein anschauliches Beispiel daf\u00fcr, wie durch durchdachte Konzepte sowohl \u00f6kologische als auch \u00f6konomische Vorteile entstehen k\u00f6nnen. Die Reduzierung von Plastikm\u00fcll und Transportwegen f\u00fcr abgef\u00fclltes Wasser senkt nicht nur die Umweltbelastung, sondern kann langfristig auch Kosten sparen. Dieses Konzept eignet sich auch f\u00fcr andere Veranstaltungen.<\/p>\n\n<h6>DTM Electric<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im November 2020 wurde im Rahmen des Saisonfinales auf dem Hockenheimring das Projekt \u201eDTM Electric\u201c pr\u00e4sentiert. In Zusammenarbeit mit Schaeffler entwickelte der langj\u00e4hrige DTM-Promoter ITR ein Konzept f\u00fcr eine Elektrifizierung der DTM. Die Fahrzeuge sollten bis zu 1.300 PS stark und in k\u00fcrzester Zeit wieder aufgeladen werden k\u00f6nnen. Ein erstes DTM Electric Democar leistete knapp 1.200 PS und wurde mehrmals im Rahmen von DTM-Rennen eingesetzt \u2013 im Sommer 2021 auf dem Red Bull Ring sogar ferngesteuert und mit einem speziellen Sound Design. Beim Finale der Saison 2021 auf dem Norisring zeigte die ITR ein DTM Electric Design Model. Das ehrgeizige Projekt scheiterte an der Finanzierung und wurde nach der \u00dcbernahme der DTM durch den ADAC zun\u00e4chst nicht weiterverfolgt. Ganz vom Tisch ist eine Elektrifizierung der DTM aber nicht.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h6>NXT Gen Cup\u00a0<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der NXT Gen Cup ist der weltweit erste 100 % elektrische Junior-Tourenwagen-Cup, bei dem junge Fahrerinnen und Fahrer mit dem LRT NXT1, einem vollelektrischen Rennwagen auf Basis des MINI Cooper SE Stra\u00dfenfahrzeugs, im Rahmenprogramm der DTM gegeneinander antreten. Der NXT1 wurde vom schwedischen Lestrup Racing Team entwickelt und gebaut.
