Als Nachfolgeprojekt der elektrischen Extreme E kombiniert die Serie spektakul\u00e4ren Offroad-Rennsport mit innovativer Brennstoffzellentechnologie. Dieser \u00dcbergang markiert eine strategische Weiterentwicklung im Bestreben, Motorsport als Plattform f\u00fcr umweltbewusste Technologien zu nutzen. Der Weltverband FIA sieht Wasserstoff als notwendige Erg\u00e4nzung im Mix nachhaltiger Antriebe.<\/p>\n\n<h6>Extreme E<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Extreme E wurde 2021 ins Leben gerufen, um auf die Folgen des Klimawandels aufmerksam zu machen. Die Serie setzte von Beginn an auf Elektromobilit\u00e4t und genderdiverse Teams, bei sich je eine Frau und ein Mann das Steuer teilten. Die Fahrzeuge \u2013 einheitliche Odyssey-21-Modelle mit 550 PS Leistung \u2013 wurden auf \u00f6kologisch sensiblen Strecken eingesetzt, darunter W\u00fcsten, Gletscherregionen und Regenw\u00e4lder. Jede Location symbolisierte spezifische Umweltprobleme, von Bodenerosion bis zum Artensterben.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h6>Brennstoffzellen<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">W\u00e4hrend die Extreme E mit Lithium-Ionen-Batterien arbeitete, setzt die Extreme H auf Brennstoffzellen, die Wasserstoff in elektrische Energie umwandeln. Dieser Paradigmenwechsel wurde durch die Partnerschaft mit der FIA beschleunigt, die 2025 die Serie als potenzielle Weltmeisterschaft anerkannte.
