Die 680 PS starken Elektrofahrzeuge boten weiterhin die f\u00fcr Rallycross typische spektakul\u00e4re Performance mit beeindruckender Beschleunigung und hoher Leistung. Die Saison 2023 stand nach einem verheerenden Brand im britischen Lydden Hill allerdings vor dem Aus: Zwei vollelektrische Lancia Delta Evo-e brannten komplett aus, was zu einer Notl\u00f6sung mit RX2e-Fahrzeugen zwang.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h6>Kampf der Technologien<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aus der Krise entstand ein innovatives Konzept: Die FIA \u00f6ffnete das Reglement 2024 wieder f\u00fcr Verbrenner, allerdings ausschlie\u00dflich mit E-Fuels (70 % nachhaltige Komponenten). Gleichzeitig blieben die Elektroantriebe erhalten. Als erste FIA-Serie l\u00e4sst die World RX Elektro- und Verbrennerfahrzeuge mit nachhaltigen Antrieben direkt gegeneinander antreten. Dieser \u201eKampf der Technologien\u201c markiert nicht nur eine strategische Neuausrichtung nach der Brandkatastrophe von 2023, sondern auch einen Meilenstein in der Debatte um die Zukunft des Motorsports. Mit ihrer Technologieoffenheit f\u00f6rdert die Serie sowohl die Elektromobilit\u00e4t als auch die Entwicklung nachhaltiger Kraftstoffe.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h6>St\u00e4rken und Schw\u00e4chen<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der \u201eKampf der Technologien\u201c offenbart die Vor- und Nachteile beider Konzepte im direkten Wettbewerb. Die Elektroboliden mit 680 PS aus zwei E-Motoren (je einer pro Achse) \u00fcberzeugen mit der f\u00fcr Elektrofahrzeuge typische Leistungsentfaltung, die den Sprint von 0 auf 100 km\/h in 1,8 Sekunden erm\u00f6glicht. Per Rekuperation werden bis zu 20 Prozent Energie zur\u00fcckgewonnen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h6>CO\u2082-Fu\u00dfabdruck im Vergleich\u00a0\u00a0<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eine von der FIA in Auftrag gegebene Studie zeigt: E-Fuel-Verbrenner haben dank nachhaltiger Kraftstoffkomponenten ein CO\u2082-\u00c4quivalent von 2,1 kg pro Rennkilometer, die Elektroboliden sind mit 1,8 kg (haupts\u00e4chlich aus Batterieproduktion und Strommix) etwas umweltfreundlicher. \u00c4ltere Batterien der Elektroboliden werden zudem zu station\u00e4ren Speichern f\u00fcr Rennstrecken umfunktioniert.<\/p>\n\n<h6>Langfristige Strategie<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der \u201eKampf der Technologien\u201c in der Rallycross-WM zeigt, dass Nachhaltigkeit im Motorsport kein Entweder-oder sein muss. Durch die Koexistenz von E-Antrieben und E-Fuel-Verbrennern gelingt der Spagat zwischen Tradition und Innovation \u2013 ein Modell, das sowohl Umweltsch\u00fctzer als auch Petrol Heads vereint. In Diskussion ist allerdings eine R\u00fcckkehr zu einer reinen Elektro-Rennserie ab 2026. Voraussetzung hierf\u00fcr ist die L\u00f6sung der Brandrisiken. Auch in diesem Bereich sammelt die FIA Erkenntnisse, die der E-Mobilit\u00e4t insgesamt zugute kommen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n<h6>RX2e-Kategorie<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Rahmen der Rallycross-WM gibt es mit der Nachwuchsserie RX2e eine vollelektrische Kategorie. Das 2020 vorgestellte und 2021 eingef\u00fchrte Format nutzt baugleiche Elektrofahrzeuge mit 335 PS und einem Drehmoment von 460 Newtonmetern \u2013 deutlich leistungsst\u00e4rker als die fr\u00fcheren Verbrenner-Pendants in der Nachwuchsserie. Die als ZEROID X1 bekannten Rennfahrzeuge wurden in einer Kooperation zwischen dem spanischen Elektroauto-Spezialisten QEV Technologies und Olsbergs MSE entwickelt und zielen darauf ab, aufstrebenden Motorsport-Talenten eine umweltbewusste Plattform zu bieten.<\/p>\n<h6>Aus f\u00fcr die WM und Elektroantrieb<\/h6>\n<p>2025 \u00fcbernahm die FIA in der Rallycross-Weltmeisterschaft die Rolle des Promoters. Dem Weltverband gelang es jedoch nicht, ausreichend Teilnehmer f\u00fcr die Serie zu begeistern. Am 19. September 2025 gab die FIA bekannt, dass es ab 2026 keine Rallycross-Weltmeisterschaft mehr geben wird, sondern nur noch eine Europameisterschaft mit
