Entsprechend gro\u00df ist der Druck, auch die nationale Motorsportlandschaft anzupassen. Die STCC hat eine fast drei Jahrzehnte lange Tradition und ist auch \u00fcber die Landesgrenzen hinweg popul\u00e4r. 2022 k\u00fcndigten die Organisatoren an, die Serie vollst\u00e4ndig auf Elektroantriebe umzustellen. 2024 wurde eine kurze erste Saison auf Basis von Modellen von BMW, CUPRA, Tesla und Volkswagen ausgetragen. Den Titel sicherte sich Mikael Karlsson mit einem Tesla Model 3. Die Saison fiel vergleichsweise kurz aus und machte deutlich, dass wirtschaftliche und strukturelle Herausforderungen die Transformation erheblich erschweren k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n<h6>Neustart geplant<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nach dem kurzfristigen Ausstieg des bisherigen Promoters SNB Events pausiert die Serie. Langfristig ist ein Neustart mit einem robusteren Gesch\u00e4ftsmodell geplant. Ein \u201eArrive and Drive\u201c-Modell soll Teams fixe Saisonkosten von 350.000 EUR garantieren, inklusive Batterieleasing und Technik-Support. Neben reinen E-Antrieben wird \u2013 analog zur Rallycross-Weltmeisterschaft \u2013 die Nutzung von E-Fuels in Verbrennermotoren diskutiert, um traditionelle Hersteller einzubinden. Neben klassischen Rennstrecken sind auch Stadtrennen geplant. Ob und in welcher Form dieser Neustart tats\u00e4chlich umgesetzt wird, h\u00e4ngt jedoch ma\u00dfgeblich von neuen Investoren und einer stabilen organisatorischen Struktur ab.<\/p>\n\n<h6>Fahrzeugkonzept<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Elektrofahrzeuge f\u00fcr die STCC wurden von PWR Racing entwickelt und zentral gebaut. Wie bei klassischen Verbrenner-Tourenwagen basieren die E-Racer auf serienm\u00e4\u00dfigen Karosserien, die f\u00fcr den Renneinsatz modifiziert werden. Akku und Elektroantrieb sind bei allen Fahrzeugen gleich und stammen vom \u00f6sterreichischen Spezialisten STARD. Die begrenzte Verf\u00fcgbarkeit der 78-kWh-Akkupacks war \u2013 neben der Finanzierung \u2013 der bisher \u00a0gr\u00f6\u00dfte Hemmschuh bei der Weiterentwicklung des innovativen Konzeptes, das langfristig auch in andere L\u00e4nder ausgerollt werden sollte.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h6>Nachhaltigkeitskonzept<\/h6>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die STCC verfolgt einen Dreiklang aus \u00f6kologischen Ma\u00dfnahmen. Der Gr\u00fcnstrom an den Rennstrecken kommt aus Windparks in Nordschweden, gespeist \u00fcber mobile Batteriecontainer von Partner Northvolt. Ausgediente Rennbatterien werden zu station\u00e4ren Speichern f\u00fcr Rennstrecken umger\u00fcstet, etwa in Anderstorp.
